BEACH

The Bukit is famous for surfing and white sand beaches.

The surfing beaches of Bingin, Padang-Padang and Uluwatu can be reached within 15 to 20 minutes on a scooter. There is a shortcut for scooters through the golf course and the old Sterling Hotel which takes you directly to Bingin.

Other beaches to visit are:

Thomas Beach - stretch of white sand, good for swimming with a number of small wooden shops, warungs along the beach. This beach is not signposted but can be reached via the small pathway opposite Suka Uluwatu. There are a number of steep steps leading down to this beach.

Melasti Beach - stretch of white sand, good for swimming with a number of smaller beach clubs located along the back of the beach. No steps to access this beach.

Nyang-Nyang - tranquil beach, lush green backdrop with ‘lost beach’ vibe. If you are not traveling by scooter please note there is a very steep road that leads down to the beach

Nusa Dusa beach is also worth a visit for a more family friendly, swimming beach.
