There are a number of beachfront warungs, most of these are open until around 8pm-9pm, some of our favourites are:-

Bella Beach Bar - small beach warung, with good cheap food, drinks and friendly staff.

Warung  Suzuki and Ozzy- small beach warung which attracts the surfing community, good for drinks and basic Indonesian food.

Jimmy Beach bar - Lovely place for brunch with a view.

Balangan Warungs

Within 0.8km from the villa are a number of small warungs.

These can easily be reached on a scooter or on foot.

Consider taking a torch if you plan on walking as there are no designated paths or street-lighting (if you don't have a torch please ask a member of staff and we can provide one for you).

Dapur Balangan by Tyson - one of our favourite warungs, based on Indonesian Nasi Campur (Buffet) style. Tyson and his staff make everyone feel very welcome and he makes a very good Beef Rendang. Not open on Sundays. 

Yakurus Warung - another good little warung, offering cheap food, drink and friendly staff. Great for a pineapple curry, made as spicy as you like it.

Warung Bagus - the closest warung to the villa, local indonesian food and they have an outdoor BBQ using coconut husks to smoke the food.

Warung Kaka - you will need transport to reach this little warung located in a residential area of Balangan, a very cheap local warung offering basic Indonesian food. Yani and her husband make you feel as if you are eating in their home.

In addition to the local warungs, there are also some Western alternatives. The closest options are Cafe la Pasion or Delmora.
